Even though the general consensus is that any criminal foolish to operate in Clayton County is in the wrong place at the wrong time, Hakim Johnson became the epitome of this known fact last night.

Yesterday, shortly before 10pm, members of Sheriff Victor Hill’s Tactical Patrol went into an apartment complex on Pine Drive to serve a warrant.  While approaching the building, Deputies observed a man later identified as Hakim Johnson sitting in a car with the engine running in front of the building.  Deputies could also smell the smoke of marijuana coming from the vehicle.  When they approached the Nissan Altima, Johnson immediately placed his vehicle in reverse nearly striking a mark patrol car and continued driving in reverse until he struck a park car.   Deputies drew their weapons and removed Johnson from the vehicle who was armed with a handgun placing him under arrest.  After search of the vehicle, Deputies located 1 pound/2.75oz of marijuana, 1.24 oz. of Cocaine, 4.8 grams of Crack, 15.4 grams of Xanax, and 5.40 oz. of Ecstasy.

Because he was in the wrong County at the wrong time, Hakim Johnson is now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail which has now been unofficially renamed ”The Hill-ton”.
