SWAT TRAINING ANOUNCEMENT 
On Thursday, November 12, 2020, the Ontario Police Department's Special Weapons and Tactics team will be training in the area of Archibald Avenue and Eucalyptus Street. While the training will last throughout the afternoon, from the hours of 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, nearby residents may see the OPD helicopter perform multiple landings at the training site. Please be advised, this is just a training exercise and should not present any hazard to the surrounding community.
We appreciate your understanding and recognize there may be some additional or unusual noises during the training period. Training in this type of suburban setting is vital to the development of our officers and our intention is to do so with as little impact to the surrounding community as possible. The training will not involve any road closures or have any impact on access to local homes or businesses.
