* Flood Advisory for... Mercer County in central New Jersey... Monmouth County in central New Jersey... Middlesex County in northern New Jersey... Somerset County in northern New Jersey... Hunterdon County in northwestern New Jersey... Northeastern Burlington County in southern New Jersey... Ocean County in southern New Jersey...

* Until 1100 PM EST.

* At 651 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated areas of heavy rains. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. Some locations that may experience flooding include... Toms River, Trenton, New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Long Branch, Asbury Park, Somerville, Sandy Hook, Somerset, Edison, Lakewood, and Middletown. This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8 and 13. Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 18 and 40. Interstate 295 in New Jersey between mile markers 60 and 76. Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 34. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 24. Garden State Parkway between mile markers 76 and 134. Additional rainfall of 0.5 to 1.5 inches is expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
