* Flash Flood Warning for... Alamance County in central North Carolina... Davidson County in central North Carolina... Forsyth County in central North Carolina... Guilford County in central North Carolina... Northwestern Randolph County in central North Carolina...

* Until 1015 AM EST.

* At 623 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Doppler radar. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Burlington, Asheboro, Lexington, Graham, Randleman, Thomasville, Kernersville, Clemmons, Mebane, McLeansville, Elon, Linwood, Huntsville, Lewisville, Archdale, Summerfield and Trinity. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area.
