SUSPECT: Eligio Ramirez, 22 years old, resident of Forest Falls
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, November 12, 2020, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford Crown Victoria for vehicle code violations. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was identified as Eligio Ramirez of Forest Falls. A search of his vehicle was conducted, and deputies located items indicative of the sales of marijuana, such as marijuana, a digital scale and denominations of illicit proceeds. Deputies also located a small quantity of Percocet pharmaceutical narcotics.
A search warrant was authored for a locked container on the backpack. The search warrant revealed multiple other items, including over 450 pharmaceutical narcotics. The narcotics were identified as Percocet, Oxycontin and Xanax. A continued search of the bag revealed a loaded handgun, pistol magazine(s) and additional marijuana.
