Deputies are investigating the cause of a fatal traffic collision on Wildwood Canyon Road/Oak Grove Road

LOCATION: Wildwood Canyon Road / Oak Grove Road, Yucaipa
DRIVER #1: 49-year-old male, resident of Yucaipa
VEHICLE#1: White, 2002 Ford F-250 truck
SUMMARY:
On Friday, November 13, 2020 at about 1:46 pm, deputies responded to a traffic collision involving an F-250 pickup truck and a Yucaipa City vehicle near the intersection of Wildwood Canyon and Oak Grove Road. According to witnesses, the F-250 was driving east on Wildwood prior to the collision. The driver of the F-250 crossed into the westbound lane and collided into the westbound Yucaipa City vehicle. None of the occupants inside the city vehicle were injured. The driver of the F-250 was pronounced deceased at the scene. The identification of driver #1 is withheld until next of kin is notified.
