San Dimas Sheriff's Station is holding it's 1st Warrant Clearing Event, New Cite in Lieu of Arrest
Community: 1st Warrant Clearing Event, New Cite in Lieu of Arrest, San Dimas Sheriff’s Station
WHO: Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lieutenant Walid Ashrafnia, San Dimas Sheriff’s Station, and station personnel.
WHAT: San Dimas Station will be hosting its First Warrant Clearing event. The purpose of the event is to provide a new court date through the issuance of a citation to those who currently have a warrant, in lieu of physical arrest.
For many, this will be a fresh start, removing the fear of going to jail for an oftentimes old warrant.
Eligible warrants:
• Traffic and non-violent misdemeanors.
Non-eligible warrants:
• Felonies
• Drug possession and theft, forgery, shoplifting, receiving stolen
Property which does not exceed $950
• Warrants related to domestic violence, firearms or resisting arrest
• Warrants related to a restraining or court orders
