Through investigation, detectives identified Michael Montana as the suspect in a kidnapping that occurred in May

LOCATION: Hwy 330 / Old City Creek Rd, Running Springs
SUSPECT(S): Michael Montano, a 50-year-old resident of Rialto
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On May 29, 2020, at 1:30 am, deputies were called to Running Springs where a 22-year-old victim was left on the side of the highway. She reported she was taken from the San Bernardino area against her will by a male she knew only as John Reed. Through investigation, Michael Montano was identified as the suspect.
An arrest warrant was issued for Montano. On Friday, November 13, 2020, Montano was arrested by the Rialto Police Department, interviewed, and booked into West Valley Detention Center.
