Deputies from SED arrested Mark Stricklen for discharging a firearm in a gross negligent manner

LOCATION: Interstate 210 freeway / 5th Street, Highland
SUSPECT(S): Mark Stricklen, 20 years old, resident of San Bernardino

SUMMARY: On October 1, 2020, at 12:20 pm, deputies from the Highland Station responded to several reports of shots being fired from a vehicle toward another vehicle near the Interstate 210 freeway and 5th street, in the City of Highland. During the initial investigation, evidence of a shooting was located in the area and several witnesses were interviewed.
During the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as 20-year-old Mark Stricklen, a resident of San Bernardino. On November 12, 2020, Stricklen was arrested in Victorville by deputies from the Specalized Enforcement Division (SED). Stricklen was found in possession of a firearm and evidence of possession of marijuana for sales. Stricklen was transported to the Highland Station and interviewed. At the conclusion of the interview, Stricklen was booked into jail for several related charges.
