ROAD CLOSURE - FOREST AVENUE - 11/23 THRU 12/04 - 7 AM TO 5 PM

NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION
WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT

Construction is currently scheduled to begin on Forest Avenue on Monday, November 23, 2020 and will continue through Friday, December 04, 2020 between Bloomfield Avenue and Harrison Street.

Except for emergencies, all work on Forest Avenue will be performed between 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, WEATHER PERMITTING. Depending upon conditions, some work may be required on Saturdays. No parking will be allowed on Forest Avenue during the aforementioned time period and area of operation when construction work is operational (Between Bloomfield Avenue and Harrison Street).

Forest Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic from Bloomfield Avenue to Harrison Street during the construction. If you need to leave your residence during the construction, please do so before 7:00 AM. Construction will start at Bloomfield Avenue and continue up Forest Avenue to Harrison Street.

Residents on Kirkwood Place will have two-way traffic once the construction is crossing their intersection for that particular day. There will be No Parking allowed on Kirkwood Place at that particular time.

Residents on Forest Avenue can park their vehicles on Crane Street, Hillside Avenue, Harrison Street and Hatfield Street if you need to leave your residence after 7:00 AM.

All Night Parking will not be enforced in this area during the construction.

Construction equipment and material will be stored on Hatfield Street.

You will have uninterrupted night and weekend access to your homes and driveways. Any questions can be directed to the Caldwell Police Department at (973) 226-2600.
