State of California issues a limited Stay at Home Order for counties in the Purple Tier effective Saturday, November 21st.
The California Department of Public Health has issued a limited Stay at Home Order for counties in the Purple Tier (including Napa County) to prevent the continued spread of COVID-19 by reducing opportunities for social gatherings and households mixing. The State has indicated that this action primarily applies to those public places where people gather and those businesses that have failed to comply with previous public health orders. This State Order is effective Saturday, November 21st, 2020 through December 21st and applies from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM only.
Essential services are exempt from this order including activities like shopping for food and other essential needs, restaurant take-out and delivery, walking pets, and commuting to and from essential service employment. The State Order does not prohibit persons from the same household from leaving their residence, lodging, or temporary accommodation, as long as they do not engage in any interaction with or gather with those outside of their household.
Please do not call 911 unless it is to report an emergency. Non-emergency compliance issues related to COVID-19 and this State Order should be reported to [email protected] or (707) 253-4540, not law enforcement dispatch.
