City of Seward Reports Two New COVID-19 Cases For Today
Seward, Alaska – Today, the City of Seward is reporting two new positive COVID-19 test results from all local healthcare facilities for today. Seward Community Health Center (SCHC) is setting up targeted drive‐through testing, and urges citizens to isolate if you have even mild symptoms of COVID and to get tested right away by contacting your healthcare provider.
The Seward Community Health Center is offering additional dates for Drive-Thru COVID Testing of November 24 and Dec 1-3, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at 417 First Ave.
COVID-19 is a widespread illness, and cases are increasing not only in Seward but all of Alaska. There is no one location that these cases are originating from. Please do your part to keep Seward strong and healthy by following these simple guidelines.
- Wear a cloth face covering
- Maintain your distance
- Wash your hands often
- Avoid crowded places and confined spaces
- Stay home when sick, and get tested as soon as possible
- Quarantine if you are notified that you are a close contact to a person who tested positive, and get tested yourself
