**Precautionary Boil Water Advisory until further notice**

New Castle, City of New Castle, Union Township, Shenango Township, Hickory Township, Neshannock Township and Mahoning Township.

Pennsylvania American Water crews are currently making emergency repairs on a water main along Wilmington Road in the City of New Castle. As a result, customers in your area will experience NO WATER, LOW PRESSURE, or DISCOLORED WATER. Repairs are expected to take 12 hours.

You are under a Precautionary Boil Water Advisory until further notice. Any water to be used for drinking or cooking should be brought to a rolling boil for 1 minute. Water is OK for bathing, washing, and other common uses. You will be notified when the boil order has been lifted. If you are a landlord and water service is in your name, please inform your tenants so they are aware of this impact to their water service.

To ease this inconvenience, bottled water will be available in the Lawrence Village Plaza parking lot along Ellwood Road and Neshannock Municipal Building along Mercer Road beginning at 11 this evening.

For more information on the advisory and a map of the affected area, log on to our website at: www.pennsylvaniaamwater.com, and select alerts, or contact Pennsylvania American Water at 1.800.565.7292 – again that’s 1.800.565.7292. Pennsylvania American Water is working diligently to resolve the issue and will contact all affected customers when the advisory is lifted. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
