City of Seward Reports Five New COVID-19 Cases For Today
Seward, Alaska – Today, the City of Seward is reporting five new positive COVID-19 test results from all local healthcare facilities.
COVID-19 is a widespread illness, and cases are increasing not only in Seward, but everywhere. Please do your part to keep Seward strong and healthy by following these simple guidelines:
- Wear a cloth face covering
- Maintain your distance
- Wash your hands often
- Avoid crowded places and confined spaces
- Stay home when sick, and get tested as soon as possible
- Quarantine if you are notified that you are a close contact to a person who tested positive, and get tested yourself
The Seward Community Health Center will provide targeted drive‐through testing on December 1-3 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. If you have even mild symptoms, get tested right away by contacting your healthcare provider.
