Full Notification

I have been made aware that there are several Nextdoor threads about the individual who was posting Swastika stickers in town the other day.  To clear up confusion or misinformation I think it is important to share the following with the community.
 
Our officers detained and identified the individual the day this was occurring (a resident of Livermore).  They took a statement from a witness and interviewed the individual who was posting the stickers.  While the individual did have a knife in his possession he did not brandish it or threaten anyone with it.  The knife was not illegal to possess. 
 
Officers have completed their follow up investigation and will be sending the reports to the District Attorney’s office for review of charges against this person for the posting of these inflammatory hate related stickers.
