Lake Geneva Police Chief Michael S. Rasmussen reports: On Wednesday, November 25th, 2020, at approximately 2:53 a.m., officers responded to Wal-Mart at 201 N. Edwards Boulevard for a reported stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers met with a female victim who appeared to have suffered from multiple stab wounds to her neck area. The female victim was treated by EMS and transported to Aurora Summit hospital in Oconomowoc where she required immediate lifesaving surgery. The victim is now stable and in good condition.
Detectives have determined that the suspect, an acquaintance of the victim, is Marcos Garcia Jr., 29 years of age with a last known address in the City of Janesville. It should be noted that Garcia is 7’02” and approximately 200 pounds. Garcia has an active warrant for his arrest.
Garcia should be considered armed and dangerous. If you know the whereabouts of Garcia, please contact the City of Lake Geneva Police Department at 262-248-4455. Do not approach Garcia if spotted, call 911 immediately and report his location.
