We have received multiple calls from residents who have been receiving calls stating their loved ones have been kidnapped or are currently being held hostage for a ransom.
This is a SCAM, please DO NOT send any money to these scammers. If you receive a phone call like this and are unsure if it is real or not please call the Sheriff's Office at 209-966-3615.
