STANISLAUS COUNTY SHERIFF’S DETECTIVES INVESTIGATE OVERNIGHT HOMICIDE
Ceres, CA –
Investigators with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating an overnight homicide which took place in the 600 block of Bystrum Road in unincorporated Ceres. Patrol deputies responded to the reports of a shooting at approximately 10:55 p.m. on Monday, November 30, 2020.
Upon their arrival, they located a victim who had sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was treated and transported to a local area hospital by paramedics, where he ultimately died as a result of his injuries. Nobody has been taken into custody at this point; however, detectives are actively pursuing all leads and trying to identify next-of-kin for victim death notification.
We have no suspect information to release at this point, but more details will be made available once detectives are prepared to provide further.
