SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, December 1, 2020, Deputy S. Ponce from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Highland Station, began an investigation into the suspected continual sexual abuse of a 17-year-old female by a relative. During the investigation, a second victim was identified. It was determined the perpetrator of continual sexual abuse to the two juvenile victims was Sean Sanchez. Through investigation it was determined the sexual abuse occurred over the course of four years.
Sean Sanchez was contacted later that day and at the conclusion of his interview he was arrested for PC 288(a) Lewd and Lascivious Act with a Minor and PC 288.5(a) Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child. Sanchez was subsequently booked into the Central Detention Center and his bail was set at $500,000.
