The Major Accident Investigation Team is investigating a fatal collision involving a motorcycle & pickup truck 
DATE/TIME: December 1, 2020 / 11:30 a.m.
INCIDENT: Fatal Traffic Collision
LOCATION: Joshua Street / US Highway 395, Hesperia
SUMMARY:
On November 29, 2020 at approximately 5:12 p.m., deputies from the Hesperia Station, along with rescue personnel from the San Bernardino County Fire Department, responded to the intersection of Joshua Street and US Highway 395 in reference to a traffic collision involving a motorcycle and pickup truck with an attached trailer. Deputies arrived on scene and Fire personnel pronounced the driver of the motorcycle deceased.
The Hesperia Station’s Major Accident Investigation Team (M.A.I.T.) responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. Preliminary statements obtained, and scene evidence indicate the pickup truck with attached trailer were traveling northbound on US Highway 395, north of the intersection with Joshua Street. The motorcycle was also traveling northbound on US Highway 395. The pickup truck began to make a U-turn on US Highway 395 and collided with the motorcycle.
The collision remains under investigation and any witnesses are asked to contact Deputy D. Caudle from the Hesperia Station.
