Evacuation Lifted in Northern Foothill Ranch; Other Evacuations Remain in Place Overnight 
The mandatory evacuation has been lifted in Zone 2, which covers northern Foothill Ranch, also known as the Alton-Paloma loop.

The other evacuations in Foothill Ranch and Portola Hills, Zones 3,4, and 5 remain under mandatory evacuations and will remain so overnight. Fire Authorities said shifting winds could threaten those areas.
The Bond Fire has burned more than 7,200 acres since it began in a home in Silverado Canyon on Tuesday night. More than 500 firefighters were battling the fire. Two on a handcrew were injured.
