Lane Restrictions Next Week on Market Street Bridge in Harrisburg
Harrisburg, PA – Motorists traveling in the area of the City of Harrisburg next week are advised there will be lane restrictions on the east span of the Market Street (Route 3012) Bridge spanning the Susquehanna River so a contractor can perform utilities investigations for a future project.
Alternating lane restrictions will be in place in both directions on the bridge from 9 AM to 3 PM Monday, December 7, through Thursday, December 10, weather permitting.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the work crews.
Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, and relevant training.
