On Saturday, December 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Holly Jolly Jekyll Parade, presented by the Beach Village Merchants, will take place on Jekyll Island. You may experience minor, rolling traffic delays around the island during this time.
The parade will not close any roads, but there will be temporary stops on the following roads as the parade moves along its route:
- Beachview Drive
- Oceans Way
- Shell Road at Beachview Drive
- King Avenue
- Lanier Road
- Captain Whylly Road
The parade will be moving through Beach Village and many beachside public parking lots. Pedestrians and bicyclists should use caution when crossing.
