Red Flag Warning until 06:00PM Tuesday
...Critical Fire Weather Conditions Monday and Tuesday in the Sierra Nevada and Kern County mountains... The National Weather Service in Hanford has issued a Red Flag Warning, which is in effect from 4 AM Monday to 6 PM PST Tuesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AFFECTED AREA...Fire weather zones 593, 594, 595, 596, and 597.This includes North Kings River, Kings Canyon National Park, Sequoia National Park and National Forest, Lake Isabella, Tehachapi Mountains, and Fort Tejon Area.
* WIND...Sustained northeast to east winds 15 to 25 mph, with gusts 35 to 45 mph. Isolated stronger gusts near 55 mph are possible along the Sierra Nevada crest.
* HUMIDITY...Minimum relative humidity values 2 to 7 percent for the Fort Tejon area, Tehachapi Mountains, Lake Isabella, and Sequoia National Forest. For the Northern Kings River area, as well as Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, minimum relative humidity values 7 to 12 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: SEQUOIA KINGS ... FORT TEJON ... NORTH KINGS RIVER ... TEHACHAPI AREA ... LAKE ISABELLA
