Two Injured In Firearm Accident


Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on 12/06/2020 at approximately 2044 hours his office was called to investigate an incident involving a gun malfunction leaving two injured.
Investigation shows that 28 year old David Williamson, and 8 year old Jeremiah Craigo, were outside of the residence target practicing, when the firearm they were using malfunctioned. Both Williamson and Craigo suffered injuries as a result of the accident and were transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital by SEPSA Ambulance. Both subjects were listed in stable condition.

Assisting in this incident was Edwardsburg Police Department, and SEPSA Fire Authority.
