LOCATION: Wanamassa section of Ocean Township
ACCUSED: Robert Womble 60 year old male of Ocean Township, NJ;
Jessica Kistner 38 year old female of Toms River, NJ.
NARRATIVE: On December 4th, 2020 Detectives Chris Clune, Jesse Orbach and Steve Walker were conducting surveillance in reference to numerous motor vehicle burglaries that had occurred within the Township. A suspect in the burglaries was identified as Robert Womble of Ocean Township. A motor vehicle stop was conducted and Womble was placed under arrest. A passenger in Womble’s vehicle, Jessica Kistner, was also placed under arrest after she was found to be in possession of narcotics. Both were transported to police headquarters for processing.
Kistner was charged with Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was released on a summons pending a future court appearance. Womble was charged with multiple counts of burglary and theft. He was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute pending a future court appearance.
