The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning for parts of California, including the Santa Clarita Valley, beginning at 2PM today and expected to last until Tuesday 10PM. A red flag warning is the highest alert, urging residents to take extreme caution and be alert of any potential fire dangers. A simple spark can cause a wildfire.

Southern California Edison is considering potential Public Safety Power Shutoffs at this time. If your power is shut off, please make sure you have a safety plan in place. A community crew vehicle offering power shutoff information, snacks, water, small resiliency devices, and personal protective equipment is currently available at 33201 Agua Dulce Canyon Road in Agua Dulce from 8AM - 10PM today.
