Catalytic Converter Theft and Drug Arrest 
On December 8, 2020 at 2:37 pm, officers made a traffic stop on a Ford SUV for a traffic violation near the intersections of San Pablo and Potrero Avenues. When officers searched the vehicle they located an ounce of methamphetamine, several battery operated saws, a floor jack, and four catalytic converters which appeared to have been recently stolen. Officers arrested the driver, a 22 year-old male from Oakland and his passenger, a 35 year-old man from Oakland. Both men were booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
