UPDATE - Power restored, traffic signals functioning in Point Dume (Cuthbert), Malibu after PSPS
SCE sent out notifications that power was restored at about 3:30 AM, Wed, 12/9/20 on the Cuthbert Circuit (Point Dume, from about Westward Beach Rd east to Latigo Cyn) in Malibu after it had implemented a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) at about 1:00 AM Tuesday, 12/8/20 in response to dangerous Red Flag fire conditions (Santa Ana winds and low humidity). Deputies report that all traffic signals along PCH in the area are functioning.
Dangerous, windy fire conditions continue for Malibu, so residents should be prepared for potential power outages, whether PSPS or unplanned, traffic signal outages, fires and evacuations.
