Yesterday, Imani Shanice Burke-Cox was captured by Sheriff Victor Hill’s Elite Fugitive Squad. Investigators sat with Cox's mother’s house under surveillance as they awaited murder warrants to be issued to Riverdale PD Homicide Detectives. Cox was instructed to turn herself in by 7 PM by Riverdale PD, but was observed getting into the passenger seat of her mothers' car moments after the warrants were issued by the Fugitive Squad. A traffic stop was conducted and all of Cox's clothing was found inside of the vehicle indicating that she was attempting to escape Clayton County. Cox was taken into custody without incident and is now facing the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail known better as “The Hill-ton”.
