Lincoln County Health Department Board Approves New Mitigation Measures
On Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 the Lincoln County Health Department Board of Trustees approved new mitigation measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The new Order is called “COVID Stops with Me” and includes a requirement for mask wearing in Lincoln County. All persons age ten (10) years old and above, who are present within the jurisdiction of Lincoln County, MO are required to wear a Face Mask any time they are, or will be, in contact with other people in public indoor and outdoor spaces, who are not members of their household.
The “COVID Stops With Me” Order shall be in effect from and after 12:01 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2020, and it shall remain in effect until March 31, 2021 or until Lincoln County is moved into Category 3 (Serious Risk) for the recommended County Action Plan as established by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS), whichever date occurs first. Under the guidance from DHSS, communities can move down in risk categories after two consecutive weeks of meeting the lower category’s criteria. According to the new Order, businesses shall post at/on all entrances used that Face Masks are required for entry into a business location. Signs are available from the Lincoln County Health Department and available for download from our website.
