Homicide investigators are releasing surveillance video stills of a person of interest and a vehicle in the murder of a local man in north Harris County.
Investigators need the public’s help in identifying the man and locating the vehicle.
On October 30, 2020, at approximately 4:30 PM, District 1 Patrol deputies responded to 10200 Old Bammel N. Houston Rd. in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male now identified as Cory Crawford, 33, laying in front of an apartment complex entrance /exit gate.
Crawford sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide and CSU investigators responded to the scene.
The on-going investigation has revealed the victim was shot during a drive by shooting.
The person of interest was seen talking with Crawford immediately before the shooting.
The suspect vehicle appears to be a white or pearl colored 4-door Buick Regal with tinted windows, a sunroof and chrome handles on doors.
