Burglary Suspects Arrested

On 12/9/20, at approximately 9:14 p.m., Morgan Hill Police Officers responded to 309 Vineyard Town Center (Erik’s Deli) on a report of a burglary in progress.

While responding to the area, officers learned witnesses reported seeing a male subject break a window with an object and enter the business. The suspect quickly exited the business and fled the area in a vehicle. MHPD officers located the vehicle as it was leaving the area and conducted a “high risk” vehicle stop.

Two male subjects were detained without incident and later identified as the same subjects involved in the burglary. 37 year-old Francisco Araiza Rodriguez and 33 year-old Antonio Ledesma Rodriguez were later arrested for burglary and conspiracy to commit a crime. Francisco Araiza Rodriguez also had two additional felony warrants for burglary. Both subjects were transported and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail.
