**ORIGINAL PRESS RELEASE**

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Missing Person Unit detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in Devon James Lavender. He is an 18 year-old male Black, who was last seen in the 9400 block of Walnut Street in the City of Bellflower, on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 8:00 a.m.

Mr. Lavender is described as 5’08”, 160 lbs., has brown eyes, short black hair, beard and hour glass tattoo on right forearm.  He was last seen wearing a white tee shirt and light brown shorts.
                                                                        
His family are very concerned for his well-being and asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.
