SANTA TRACKER ALERT:
Good Evening Huron Township. We hope everyone had a great week and is looking forward to the weekend.
The Huron Township Department of Public Safety was contacted today by the big man himself, Santa Claus. Santa received word from the Easter Bunny telling him how fun it was to ride on the Fire Truck this past Easter and asked if he could come see the children of our community this weekend.
This Sunday, December 13th, 2020, Santa Claus will be visiting Huron Township Neighborhoods to say hello to our children. Santa and some special friends will be escorted through the neighborhoods by our first responders, so listen for sirens and look for the lights.
It is anticipated that we will begin around 9a.m. and we will get to as many neighborhoods as we can throughout the afternoon. We realize it is an early start, but we want to get to see as many of you as we can. Santa will not have his sleigh, so he may not get down every road in the Township, so feel free to try and get a glimpse in a subdivision or village near you.
We will update our Facebook Page in real time throughout the day and give a heads up when on our way to specific neighborhood or village. Please monitor this page on Sunday for tracker updates and stay positive please, after all it is the holidays and our hope is to bring a little happiness to the community!
Unfortunately, due to current circumstances, Santa will not be able to distribute candy or stop for photographs.
We look forward to seeing a few smiles and waves on Sunday morning. Stay safe and healthy Huron Township!
