LOCATION: Roadway Inn, 607 Roosevelt Avenue, National City
Incident Details:
On 12/13/20, at about 0259 hours, Officers from the National City Police Department responded to the Roadway Inn Motel, located at 607 Roosevelt Avenue, to investigate a report of structure fire. Officers arrived on scene and one of the rooms was engulfed in flames. Several motel guest were attempting to extinguish the flames while extracting an unconscious female from the room.
Officers located an unresponsive female outside the room with multiple stab wounds. Medics rushed the female to the hospital for treatment where she was listed in serious condition.
