HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT...
...COASTAL FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...
 
This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central New Jersey and
southern New Jersey.
HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING THROUGH LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT...
 
* WHAT...Northeast winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph
  possible.
 
* WHERE...In New Jersey, Eastern Monmouth, Atlantic Coastal Cape
  May, Coastal Atlantic and Coastal Ocean.
 
* WHEN...From Wednesday evening through late Wednesday night.
 
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could blow down trees and power
  lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
 
Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates on this
situation. Fasten loose objects or shelter objects in a safe
location prior to the onset of winds.
 
COASTAL FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH THURSDAY AFTERNOON...
 
* WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground level
  possible in low-lying areas near shorelines and tidal
  waterways.
 
* WHERE...Tidal portions of Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and
  southeastern Burlington Counties in New Jersey.
 
* WHEN...From Thursday morning through Thursday afternoon.
 
* IMPACTS...At this level, widespread roadway flooding occurs in
  coastal and bayside communities and along inland tidal
  waterways. Many roads become impassable.
 
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Minor tidal flooding may occur with the
  Tuesday morning and Wednesday morning and evening high tides.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
 
A Coastal Flood Watch means that conditions favorable for
flooding are expected to develop.
 
Be prepared to begin taking appropriate action to protect life
and property. Follow the recommendations of local emergency
management officials. Be sure to check the latest forecast from
time to time in case a warning is issued or any new information
becomes available.
