COVID Test Site for West Springfield Residents on 12-16-2020

West Springfield, MA: Are you a West Springfield resident? Are you planning on spending the holidays with your loved one? Are any of your loved ones or even yourself high-risk for COVID-19? 

The Town of West Springfield in conjunction with OccuMed New England is working for you to provide a COVID-19 testing site for the holiday season. Do your part to get tested before visiting your loved ones. We encourage you to practice safe holiday activities. 

This test site will be free and only service West Springfield Residents.

Things Residents should consider before going to get tested: 

• Pre-Registration will cut down on the wait time for all residents getting tested

• Be prepared for at least a 2 hour wait

• Have a full tank of gas

• There are NO RESTROOMS ON SITE

• If you have some type of emergency that requires you to get out of line, call (413) 636-1595

Q: When will the COVID Test Site be held? 

A: Wednesday, December 16th, 2020 from 2:00PM - 6:00PM. The gates will be closed at 5:30PM. 

Q: What do we do when we get there? 

A: Keep your windows up! Make sure you have your proof of residency ready and proceed along the route. 

Q: Where do we enter? 

A: 514 Amostown Rd, and testing will take place in the West Springfield High School Parking Lot. 

Q: Can I get a test if I do not live in West Springfield? 

A: No, this clinic is only for West Springfield Residents. If you are unable to get tested at this site, please visit the Mass.gov website for other local testing locations. 

Q: How can I/Should I pre-register?

Q: How long will it take to get my results? 

A: Results will be returned under 72 hours. Negative results will get emailed and positive results will receive a phone call. 

The Town of West Springfield is committed to keeping their residents safe by providing testing during the holiday season. We encourage you to participate and do your part to stop the spread.
