WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM WEDNESDAY TO 1 PM EST THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 12 to 16
inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph along the coast.
* WHERE...Portions of northeast New Jersey, southern Connecticut and southeast New York, including the Lower Hudson Valley.
* WHEN...From 2 PM Wednesday to 1 PM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening
commute. Gusty winds and heavy wet snow could bring down
scattered to numerous tree branches along the coast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
