Press Release - Declaration of Snow Emergency
With the prediction of a major winter storm that is to result in heavy snowfall, Mayor Philip Harris has declared a snow emergency to be effective at 11:00am on Wednesday December 16th, 2020 and remain in effect until 11:00am on Friday December 18th, 2020. Residents and businesses should be aware of snow emergency procedures and regulations.
In a snow emergency, vehicles parked along snow emergency routes must be moved or they will be ticketed and towed at the owners’ expense. Snow emergency routes are marked with red and white signs and do not await a snow emergency declaration and are automatically in that status when snowfall exceeds four inches. As a courtesy all snow emergency routes are listed below:

During the snow emergency residents and patrons of local businesses are permitted to park free of charge in the Parking Garage for the duration of the snow emergency. Parking in the garage is restricted to the first three floors only.
