The City of Watervliet is requesting all residents to avoid unnecessary travel! Because of the volume of snow, numerous cars are becoming stuck in the roadway. This is interfering with DPW's plowing operations and causing significant delays.
DPW's priority is to ensure primary roads are passable. Secondary roads will be cleared once the snow stops.
Again, please stay off the roads at this time. Give our DPW crews an opportunity to clear the roads first!
