City of Watervliet, NY Snow Emergency Declared for Tomorrow (12/18)

The City of Watervliet has declared a SNOW EMERGENCY beginning tomrrow, Friday, December 18th at 7:00 AM. All vehicles parked on city streets are required to be moved tomorrow, 12/18 when directed by the Watervliet Police Department. Any vehicle that is not moved will be subject to a parking ticket and towed at the owner's expense. See the attachment for more information. A snow removal hotline with a recorded message can be reached at 518-270-3823.

During these next few days please be sure to check in on your neighbors (while maintaining COVID-19 precautions).

For tomorrow: please have your vehicles cleaned off and ready to be moved prior to the snow plows arriving on your block. By doing so, it helps prevent delays and keeps the snow plowing operation running smoothly.
