Plowing continues Town-wide. Reminder that tossing snow into the streets is prohibited and slows progress. 
Public Works continues its plowing efforts to clear the 400 miles of travel lanes, shoulders and parking lots in each pass through Town.
These efforts are impeded when snow is tossed or blown back into plowed streets -- which is prohibited in Westfield for safety reasons. This activity creates additional work for the DPW and also can contribute to dangerous icing conditions on roadways. Thank you for your cooperation.
