Temporary Electric Outage Scheduled in Chula Vista Dec. 18 near Orange and Fourth Avenues 
Residents and businesses near the Chula Vista South Branch Library at 389 Orange Avenue may experience an electrical power outage on Friday, December 18, between the hours of 4 and 6 a.m.
The temporary outage is necessary for SDG&E to bring power to the new Fire Station 5 currently under construction at 341 Orange Avenue, next door to the library.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. The new fire station is on track to open and serve the neighborhood in Spring 2021.
