NJDOT Construction on Route 80 East in "S" Curves-- Next Two Months 
New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) officials have announced the daytime lane closure of the right lane on I-80 eastbound before the S-curve for retaining wall repairs in Knowlton.
From 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for the next two months, the right lane on I-80 eastbound will be closed just before the S-curve near mile post 1.4. One lane will remain open during construction. The work is necessary to repair an eroded section of the wall by pouring a new footing, repairing cracks in the wall and stabilizing the embankment area. The schedule of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
