The Sheriff’s Annual “Catch A Robber For Christmas” program just got very interesting and more rewarding.  A long time friend of the Sheriff has put up a five thousand dollar reward for the Sheriff to award to anyone who can provide information leading to identifying and arresting a suspect who has now robbed 3 businesses in Clayton County.

Yesterday, December 17, 2020 at 4pm, a light skinned male pictured below entered and robbed the DTLR Clothing Store located at 7179 Hwy 85 Riverdale, Ga.   When the suspect left, he shot a round into the air as he was fleeing from the location on foot.

Fifteen minutes later the same light skinned male entered into the Family Dollar at 830 Hwy 138 Jonesboro, and committed a robbery.  The suspect left the location on foot running towards the Goodwill Thrift Store.

Due to the physical description and pictures of the suspect, Investigators believe this is the same suspect that robbed the Panhandle Package Store located at 1681 Flicker Rd. Jonesboro, Ga. on Saturday December 12, 2020.

This suspect is be considered armed and dangerous and is a threat to public safety.  If anyone spots a suspect loitering around a buisness fitting the description of the pictured suspect, do not approach and dial 911 immediately so that law-enforcement can check the suspect out.  If anyone recognize and can identify this suspect from the photos below, please call us at 770-479-4479 or contact us via the Nixle tip line.  Sheriff Victor Hill will personally bring the cash award to whoever provide Investigators with information that positively identifies this suspect resulting in his arrest.  Let’s get this armed robber a luxury suite at “The Hill-ton” before Christmas Day!!!
