Thin Ice! Local ice in southern Wisconsin is still too thin for man or beast. 
We know its time to consider ice activities like fishing, skating or maybe hiking to get a different view of the land, but please choose wisely. The ice around the Wisconsin Dells area is still very thin. Especially in places where the water beneath it has a current or is spring fed. We strongly suggest you wait until ice conditions improve before you get on it.
And, if your traveling, watch for ice patches on roads, slippery spots on sidewalks and always wash your hands.
