Snow Emergency Completed! (12/19)
The snow emergency that had been declared for 12/18/2020 and 12/19/2020 has been completed. Crews have finished snow plowing operations; all streets have been completed and residents may resume normal parking.
Please note: DPW crews will be working throughout the next several days to remove large snow banks and further widen the roads. *Crews will post areas with "No Parking" signs if they need access for their equipment - please obey these signs.
*AS A REMINDER, IF YOUR VEHICLE IS PARKED IN A WAY THAT OBSTRUCTS THE FREE-FLOW OF TRAFFIC (BLOCKS THE DRIVING LANE), YOU MAY BE TICKETED AND TOWED WITHOUT NOTICE (AS ALLOWED BY LAW).
- Call the General Manger's Office for general questions relating to storm issues at 518-270-3800 ext 100.
- Call the Highway Department for any issues with snow plowing, snow banks, etc at 518-270-3821
- Call the Police Department for any issues with vehicle's blocking the roadway, fire hydrants, etc. at 518-765-5979.
Lastly, if your vehicle was towed, you may pick it up tomorrow (Sunday) from 10a-4pm. You must first report to WPD's station (#2 15th Street).
Instructions:
