Subject: Sun Prairie Police Department Receives Grant Award from Wisconsin Department of Justice

The Sun Prairie Police Department is pleased to announce that they have received a grant in the amount of $29,034 from the Wisconsin Department of Justice to continue the Police Department’s cleaning program in 2021. The cleaning program involves thorough cleaning of the Police Department’s facilities and police vehicles to continue to aggressively mitigate exposure to the COVID-19 virus. This grant also allows the purchase of five laptop computers to assist certain assigned staff to effectively and safely telecommute during this pandemic. The Sun Prairie Police Department is grateful to the Wisconsin Department of Justice for this grant award!
