Revised Temporary Targeted Safer at Home Health Officer Order for Control of COVID-19
Effective today, Monday, December 20, 2020, and through at least December 27, 2020, the County of Los Angeles Health Officer posted a revised order. The Order continues to put a great emphasis requesting all County residents to remain in their homes except as necessary to conduct activities specifically permitted in the Order. The Order may be extended if the projection of the Southern California Region’s total available ICU bed capacity is less than 15%.
The revised temporary Order includes the following revisions:

Places of worship for faith-based services or as required by the law are allowed. All attendees must wear a face covering or masks at all times.
• Outdoor dining must remain closed to the public.
• Personal care services do not include medical massage appointments that are done based on a referral by a physician or chiropractor.
• Lower-risk retail businesses that are non-essential must close for indoor retail operations between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. Businesses must meet all requirements of social distancing protocols and all employees must properly wear a face covering or mask at all times.
• Essential office-based businesses must comply with the County’s Public Health protocols for Office-based Worksites.
• Indoor malls and shopping centers must close between 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. All outdoor seating for dining must remain closed at indoor malls, swap meets, and shopping centers.
